|Notes:||no. 1 4 Jan 1833-3 Feb 1983 and continuing as Lincoln(shire) Chronicle free paper). For much of the twentieth century produced in a variety of localised editions: 1942-64 County and Northern eds. then various including a Lincoln City which was titled Lincoln Weekend Chronicle between Apr 1968-31 Jan1975. From Feb 1977-3 Feb 1983 seven localised eds. including Lincoln City and North, Lincoln City and South. Then these two editions ceased, their place taken by the Lincolnshire Standard North Kesteven (previously Lincoln City and North). The remaining localised editions continued for a time. The Lincoln Chronicle re-emerged in May 1985: see also that title.|
