Search Tips
Use only one of the searches to find Publications / Locations.
Please note that searches cannot be combined, pick only one option from the searches on the left:
- Use Name of Newspaper to find when a particular newspaper begins and ends and find the nearest library that holds the paper.
- Use Library Name to pick a library from the drop down list and see all the newspapers files kept at your chosen library, record office or museum. (Otherwise just leave the British Library default.)
- The Town/County search will show all the newspapers published in a chosen town or county or with that place name in their title. It does not tell you all the places a newspaper reported on. If possible search for a specific town as the whole county lists are very lengthy.
